The Dharma Yoga Experience with Pearl, May 22

Join Pearl for a full Dharma Yoga Experience, as taught by the living guru, Sri Dharma Mittra, in NYC. Immerse in the essence of Sri Dharma’s teachings, based on Compassion (Karuna) and Devotion (Bhakti), and explore the Yamas and Niyamas. You will be guided through breathing exercises (pranayama), chanting (mantra japa), and a full physical practice (asana), followed by Yoga Nidra, a deep relaxation technique.

Dharma Yoga includes traditional Surya Namaskars and a Dharma-varieted Shiva Namaskar with dynamic Heart and Hip Openers, followed by a series of poses focused on drawing the practitioner’s attention inward.

Yoga Nidra as practised by Sri Dharma Mittra is a guided meditation that helps the practitioner attain deep physical rest, and for our Being to harness deep intuitive and healing energies.
