FAQs

  • Yoga is a traditional system of bringing balance into your mind and body. It involves the physical practice of yoga postures and breathing exercises. In the modern world, Yoga tends to focus mostly on the physical practice - the yoga postures. This is a great place to start but there is so much more to discover as you develop your yoga practice.

  • Absolutely! Our classes are suitable for all levels of experience. Please let the teacher know that you are new to yoga and always practise at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

  • We recommend that you wear light and comfortable clothing. We provide mats, fresh complimentary towels and filtered water. Please bring along your own water bottle.

  • We highly recommend that you book your class to confirm your mat and avoid any disappointment when you arrive at the studio.

  • The mind and body benefits even if you practise once a week. If you can, try to practise two to three times a week but do not let unrealistic expectations stress you out. In short, do what you can, when you can.

  • It is important that you inform the teachers of any injuries prior to class, to get advice about any postures or movements you may need to avoid. If in any doubt, we recommend that you speak to a medical professional for advice.

  • If you already have a regular yoga practice, you are more than welcome to attend any of our classes. We do however recommend that you check in with your doctor and get the clearance to practise. If you have never practised yoga before, we believe you would get more benefit from a specialised prenatal class. Please speak to us for more information.
