SCHEDULE
Friday, July 10 | 6.30 to 8.30pm
Gokul Vinyasa Krama masterclass: A return to a traditional sequence designed to develop awareness, connection, and depth in your practice. This is not just a session, but the Practice itself, which one sustains and deepens over time.
Saturday, July 11 | 9 to 11am
Hip Opening: Traditionally based alignment and integration of alignment levels with a specific focus on the hip and pelvic regions. Working on the leading and supporting bandhas at the energetic level as well as internal and external physical alignments.
Saturday, July 11 | 11.15 to 1.15pm
Bhedana in Pranayama: Understanding the role that conscious breathing techniques (Bhedana) play in the practice of Pranayama is essential for a holistic Yoga Sadhana. Without it we run the risk of mistaking breathing exercises for the traditional practice of Pranayama, thus hindering our progress in Yoga.
Sunday, July 12 | 9 to 11am
The Bandhas: Ultimately part of the traditional pranayama practice, the energetic work through Bandha is fundamental to Asana as part of the holistic yoga practice, not just as an external limb of yoga. Focus given to the main energetic components such as Prana, Nadis, Marmas, Sthiras, etc.
Sunday, July 12 | 11.15 to 1.15pm
Dharana: There is an important difference between what the general public considers "meditation" and the traditional Yoga level of Dhyana. Traditional Yoga meditation and the ability to instrumentalize the power of awareness are also different. In this Dharana workshop we will study these differences in more detail and present concise and systematic foundations to approach a meditative practice in the classical sense.

About Gokul Yoga
Gokul Yoga is one of the few remaining true yogic traditions based on Vaisnava disciplic succession. As part of a millenary spiritual lineage, Gokul Yoga strictly adheres to the practice and principles passed down through generations of practitioners without compromise.
Being an active and living part of this tradition, Gokul Yoga practice focuses on the original (dvaita bhagavata) goal and purpose of Yoga as sanctioned in the Vedas and revealed scriptures: reestablishing the forgotten relationship between the individual spirit soul and the Supreme Soul.
Gokulacandra, the founder of Gokul Yoga (established in 2012), has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years.
A native of Finland, Gokulacandra is currently based in Malaysia with his wife and 3 children. Other than teaching at his own studio, he travels the globe teaching workshops and training.
