Start your Vesak Day morning with intention and heart. Join Mayuko, yoga teacher, sound therapist, and Non-Violent Communication (NVC) practitioner, for a nourishing morning of gentle movement, breathwork, and immersive sound meditation woven with the spirit of loving kindness (metta).

Set against the serene backdrop of the Botanic Gardens lawn near Swan Lake, this class is open to all levels and a beautiful way to honour the compassion at the heart of Vesak.

About Kidz Horizon Appeal Singapore

Established in 2004, Kidz Horizon Appeal is a charitable organisation that attends specifically to the medical needs of the most vulnerable in society – the needy children with chronic illnesses. Since it started, the Appeal has adopted the KKH Health Fund (KKHHF) and almost a million is raised annually to help children with chronic illnesses, including cancer.

The appeal has raised an average of $1 million a year and has successfully supported the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital’s Child Life Therapy Programme to make the hospital experience less stressful for sick children.

About Mayuko

Mayuko is a certified singing bowl sound therapist, yoga teacher (RYT200), and Nonviolent Communication (NVC) practitioner. She is committed to providing extensive instruction and counselling to her clients, while motivating them to become their healthiest self and find true inner peace. Ever since she discovered the healing benefits of singing bowls, she started to apply therapeutic sounds in her daily routine and found deep transformation.

Mayuko strongly believes in keeping the balance between body, mind, heart and soul. She aims to create a warm sacred space within, and to help people align with the present moment.
