Discover the essential principles of Qigong in this 4 hour experiential workshop that combines gentle movement, breathwork, and embodied awareness. Through accessible practices suitable for all levels, you'll explore foundational energetic frameworks including Yin - Yang theory, the Five Keys to Maximize Qi Flow, the Three Dantian, Five Elements and Seasons, Six Phases of Qigong Flow, and the Eight Actions of Qi.
Learn to feel and regulate Qi in your body through hands-on experience. No prior experience necessary and everyone is welcome.
Qigong is an ancient mind–body practice that cultivates life-force energy (Qi) through gentle movement, breath, and embodied awareness. In this workshop, we explore the essential foundations of Qigong through a simple and intuitive lens — “Qi by Numbers,” where each numerical system represents a key piece of the energetic landscape.
You’ll Learn & Experience:
Yin & Yang
• The two complementary forces that govern balance in our bodies and lives.
The Five Keys to Maximize Qi Flow
• Posture, breath, alignment, intention, and attitude — the essentials for moving energy with ease.
The Three Dantian (Energy Centers)
• Lower, middle, and upper centers that support vitality, emotional balance, and clarity.
The Five Elements & Seasons
• Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water — a simple framework that links our emotions, organs, seasons and natural rhythms.
The Six Phases of Qigong Flow
• A gentle arc that most Qigong practice follows, from grounding and releasing to building, circulating, and storing energy.
The Eight Actions of Qi
• From rising to falling, expanding and contracting, flowing in and out, gathering and dispersing — the fundamental ways Qi moves through the body. We’ll practice these slowly with a timed bell to deepen awareness and nervous-system regulation.
What to Expect:
A blend of simple Qigong movements, standing meditation, breathwork, theory explained in an accessible way, and short breaks to rest and integrate. No experience is needed — all movements are gentle and beginner-friendly.
The workshop concludes with a soothing 30-minute sound bath to help integrate everything you’ve learned and experienced.

About Jeanette
Jeanette is a certified Qigong instructor and sound healing practitioner who creates spaces for deep rest, gentle movement, and inner harmony. Her Qigong Flow & Sound sessions combine the slow, meditative movements of Qigong with the therapeutic vibrations of sound—using instruments like singing bowls or gongs to support nervous system regulation and energy flow.
She loves combining these two modalities to amplify their effects—having experienced firsthand how sound frequencies and vibrations travel more freely and deeply after Qigong, enhancing relaxation, transformation and energy flow.
With a former background in litigation law and relationship counselling, Jeanette shifted toward holistic healing following a personal health scare that led her to explore deeper ways of restoring balance.
Jeanette holds a gentle and supportive space for students to reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and their inner wisdom—one breath at a time.
